Spec UGC Ad

Sleep was the problem nobody diagnosed.

A testimonial that sells blue light glasses through vulnerability, not science.

The brief

Blue light glasses ads usually lead with the science: wavelengths, circadian rhythms, melatonin. That does not convert. People do not buy science. They buy the promise of sleep.

The thought process

We opened with the problem, not the product. A woman who cannot sleep. She tries something a friend suggested, with low expectations. Three nights later she is sleeping. The glasses are the resolution, not the opening hook.

The bedroom setting, the warm lamp, the loungewear: every visual cue says nighttime, comfort, and rest. The creator's skepticism at the start mirrors the viewer's own doubt. By the time she puts them on and smiles, the audience has already decided they want to try.

The "after 9 PM" rule gives the product a simple, memorable use case. Not all day, not at the computer. After 9 PM. That is a behavior change people can actually follow.

How we work

  1. 01 Start with the viewer's pain, not the product's features.
  2. 02 Cast someone who looks like the target customer, not a model.
  3. 03 Script the skepticism. It builds trust faster than enthusiasm.
  4. 04 End with the result, not the pitch. The smile sells it.
