Spec Ad
A vibrant spec ad that turns a poke bowl into a tropical journey from ingredient to plate.
We love Hawaiian Poke Bowl. So we challenged ourselves to build an ad that brings the product and the feeling around it to life. The goal was to make fast food feel premium and tropical — proving that real ingredients and speed are not opposites — without sounding like a health lecture.
The ad opens with a smile. A woman leaning over a poke bowl in a tropical setting is not a product shot — it is a feeling. The viewer is invited into the experience before seeing a single ingredient close-up. The plumeria flower and golden light do the geographical work without a single word.
The middle section is a sensory cascade. The landscape transforms into the food itself: yellow sauce becomes a waterfall, tofu cubes become rock formations, and the viewer is literally flying through a world made of ingredients. This is not a food ad — it is a food universe.
The ingredient reveal is fast and precise. Real steak, real salmon, always fresh — each cut gets its own beat with a sound effect and a label. The hands-on assembly sequence makes the viewer feel the bowl being built. The drizzle shot is the money frame: appetite appeal at maximum intensity. The four-bowl lineup with the tagline "Changing fast food for good" closes the ad with brand and promise in one frame.
